Pattaya is all set to take center stage! The city is getting ready to host not just the 33rd SEA Games, but also the WGP#1 Jet Ski World Cup 2025 and it’s shaping up to be a big deal for Thailand’s sports tourism scene. From stunning beaches to world-class sporting action, Pattaya is preparing to show the world what a real Sports City looks like.
The SEA Games will be held from December 10–14, 2025, followed by the WGP#1 WATERJET WORLD CUP AND WORLD SERIES 2025 from December 17–21, 2025. Both events will take place at Jomtien Beach, right in front of The Now Hotel in Chonburi province — the perfect blend of sun, sea, and sport!
🏖️ During the latest coordination meeting, representatives from the Jet Ski Association of Thailand teamed up with Asian Multisport Company and local authorities to go over everything — from venue logistics and safety plans, to environmental cleanliness and international standards. After the meeting, the organizing team headed out to survey the actual event sites to make sure every little detail will be ready in time.
With over 40 countries expected to participate, this isn’t just another sports event. It’s a global stage for Pattaya to shine — proving once again that it’s more than just a beach destination. It’s where international sports, tourism, and culture come together.
🎤 According to Mr. Krisana, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya, this opportunity will not only boost the city’s image as a global Sports City, but also strengthen the region’s sports tourism. “Hosting the SEA Games and WGP#1 Jet Ski World Cup is a game-changer for Pattaya and Chonburi. It’s a great chance to attract global athletes and fans, boost the local economy, and show the world what Pattaya has to offer,” he said.
So whether you’re a sports enthusiast, a traveler looking for your next destination, or just curious to see world-class athletes in action — Pattaya in December 2025 is the place to be.
