Pattaya joins forces at EEC EXPO 2025 to unlock regional business potential – and the energy at this year’s event was electric! The EEC EXPO 2025: Opportunity for Prosperity brought together key players from both public and private sectors. From high-level government officials to innovative entrepreneurs, the event was packed with people ready to build Thailand’s next economic leap. Representing Pattaya, Ms. Thitiphan Phettrakul, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya City, joined the opening ceremony, alongside Industry Minister Mr. Ekniti Promphan and senior figures from the Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Education, and TCEB (Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau).
TCEB sees MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) as a core engine for economic growth. By placing the EEC front and center, the goal is to make the region a global business hub, while also creating sustainable value for local communities.
Inside the expo, things got exciting — with forward-looking panels like “EEC 2023 Vision: Driving Thailand’s Economic Future”, and showcases of megaprojects, green energy innovations, and smart water management. But that’s not all — over 400 regional businesses joined matchmaking and B2B sessions, sparking real investment opportunities.
Pattaya didn’t just show up — we showed off. The city’s booth highlighted our vision of a smart and safe urban future, introducing tools like the Smart Traffic alert system, Smart Application, and Pattaya Connect — designed to support urban growth in sync with EEC development.
